Shavuos Funday
The Shavuos Funday will take place at Stenecourt on Sunday 16th May. The event, in conjunction with Bnei Akiva, will feature crafts and activities for primary -aged children. Places must be booked by May 2nd.

Stene Girls
There will be a meeting of the Stene Girls this Shabbos at 11:00am.
Shavuos for Ladies & Girls
Based on an idea piloted in London, we are considering arranging a women’s only learning programme for 1-1½ hours on the second day Shavuos in the late afternoon. Anyone who would be interested please contact Rabbi Benjy. Please note, it will be arranged only if there is sufficient interest expressed
The Stenecourt Club
The next meetings of the Stenecourt Club will be on Thursday 13 May 2010, guest speaker Merton Paul whose topic will be “Don’t just stand there, buy something!” (an illustrated history of the Manchester Jewish Community)
Thursday 3 June 2010 guest speaker Rev Gabriel Brodie on the topic “My experiences of talking to non-Jewish groups”. Meetings will take place in the Reception Room commencing at 2:00pm, Admission and refreshments £1.50. All welcome, please tell your friends!.
Anniversary of a Barmitzvah
If anyone has the anniversary of their Barmitzvah Sedra approaching and would like to read the Haftorah, or even lein, would they please notify the Gabbai a few weeks in advance, so that he can check if it can be arranged.

Rabbi Rubinstein’s Shiur
The congregation are cordially invited to Kiddush in the Max & Hanna Rowe Hall immediately after davening, followed by Rabbi Rubinstein’s Shiur about “Parshas Hashovuah and Laws of Shabbos” in the Beis Hamedrash.
