Yom Yerushalayim Celebration
There will be a Yom Yerushalayim event in the Bnei Akiva Bayit on Tuesday 11th May at 8pm. The format of the evening will include a special Tefilla, a speech from Rabbi Kanterovitz and refreshments sponsored by The Jewish Agency. In the past, Yom Yerushalayim in Manchester has had minimal celebration and publicity, and therefore I am appealing to as many people as possible within this community to attend this event and mark this special occasion.

Each session begins with a Keynote speaker and is followed by your chosen track.
Keynote speakers are Dayan Y Abraham of London, Rabbi Zvi Lieberman, Ray Hill and Rabbi Dr Alan Kimche of London.
Tracks include Jewish Philosophy, Medical Ethics, and Parenting as well as Jewish History and A Day in the Life of the Manchester Beis Din.

Chayeinu is a joint partnership between Holy Law, Aish and Stenecourt.
For the first time ever in Manchester , the Misaskim program will receive a dedication of a new Sefer Torah – Sunday 14th March at 2.30pm going from the home of Keith and Sara Taylor and going to Beis Yisroel Shul in the Cultural Centre.
The Misaskim program has benefited hundreds of people in the short time it has been set up.
There will be flags and sweets for every child and fire torches for the older boys

Chanukah Show
The stenecourt chanucha show will take place this Sunday, december 13th at 4pm approx, after Mincha & Maariv The children will perform their play, Maccabee Mania and all are welcome to come and watch.
Chanukah Party
All children in the show need to be at shul by 3.15. A group of children will also be going to Newlands to sing chanucha songs at 1.45pm this sunday.
This will be followed by the children's Chanucha party, including presentation of certificates to be awarded to those children who regularly attend Shabbos morning services and prizes will be given to entrants in our Succah Competition.
